Jason, could this POSSIBLY be any more fabulous? :) The truffle sounds divine, as does the pasta you made, and that's a really nice looking loaf you ended up with! But getting to see you live in action - that's the best bit of all this month! :)
Too saucy for iPhone but now that I'm on the Mac -> hilarious. So now I know what to get you next birthday; a swear jar! Seriously the produce looks great and that PASTA.mmmmmmmm
Can we have a twirl around the kitchen too next time? I wonder if you've started something. Celia will have a whole IMK channel on YouTube before we know it.
What a wonderful, preachy, obnoxious, organic hipster you are! And a blooper reel no less - love it. Thanks for a great tour of the kitchen Jason. I look forward to many more. xx
Love your video presentation and the blooper reel was a treat. I just got some truffles so some lucky eggs are going to get the treatment. Thanks for the tour.
Best IMK Post ever! Seems though I am the only human alive who hasn't eaten a truffle before. Don't even think we can get them here in South Africa. Have an awesome day. :-) Mandy xo
Thanks Mandy, but best ever is a big call lol I think we have just been lucky to have easier access to them now, I first tried them in Italy. I hope you get to try them, maybe be the first to grow them in South Africa, might take about 10 years to grow though. cheers Jason
Hi Jason, I didn't get to see much of your video, I am in the country and there is not much speed here. I did get to see the first bit though and it looked like fun.
Hi Jason, Loved the video! Way to go the extra and include the blooper reel. The pasta looks great. Mandy is not alone, I've also never had a truffle. But working with fungi has kind of put me off them, haha. Thanks for sharing! :)
Hi Jason, I actually work in a research lab but we do go collecting for samples on farms. It is very interesting work, never a dull moment, but after you've seen and dealt with some of the fungi I have, you'd never want to eat a mushroom again! :)
Must have missed your post when going through Celia's site earlier this month. Loved it- stick with the presentations for sure. So- a jingle? Sung to the tune of ... hmm, I'll get back to you. Don't boil the sauce, I'm not cooking horse Unless you force me to,
No, I think I might have to sleep on this one and come up with a better entry. F
Hi Francesca, I love your entries for the Jingle, very topical with the horse reference, keep up the good work, we'll call you (don't call us) There is more of an issue with this blogger than blogger re the comments, sometimes I'm not as quick as I'd like to be with hitting publish sorry. cheers Jason

Thanks Emily, working with fungi sounds interesting, on a farm or a lab?

Don't boil the sauce,

Hmm. Don't know where my last pending comment went but anyway, here's my jingle offering for your new and about to be famous,
ReplyDeleteA horse is a horse of course of course,
Unless you go and boil the sauce
and end up feeling much remorse
and have to eat a truffle.
No? OK , I'll work on it.
Great post Jason.
